Got there early Thanksgiving morning to be at the front of the line and I was first. Got the seeded twist and it was delicious. The reviews talked about how great the prosciutto bread was so got one of those too. It was good, not great. Overall a good experience.

The best intown fantastic service and excellent quality Italian bread delicious Nothing changed always delicious and excellent

Came on a Saturday before they closed, order by the pound. Cute local bakery, picked up some cookies to fly back home and share with the family. A few of the cookies are at $13 a pound and others were at $12. I love the rainbow, figs and jam cookies! I can't wait to come back and pick up some great looking bread. I regret not getting the prosciutto bread roll, next time! Service was nice and welcoming!

really love this place. breads are great, pistachio biscotti is phenomenal. highly recommend

This place has the best prosciutto bread! If they sell our second favorite is the olive bread! Everything is baked fresh! The breads usually come out hot if you come mid day! The service is great the girls working are very helpful! It is also very clean! Once you walk in you are going to want to buy everything!

I tried a chocolate eclair and a slice of brownie cheesecake here. Neither are my go to desserts but I throughly enjoyed both. Especially along with a cup of Yemeni tea down the street--yum!! There were a bunch of bakeries on this street but the display of fresh breads and cakes drew me in. Will definitely be revisiting to check out more desserts!

Classic Italian bakery. For those familiar with calandra's in NJ, this is the Brooklyn version although on a smaller scale. They have a nice selection but the panella is my go to and honestly it's probably some of the best in nyc. You'll also find speciality items like olive. prosciutto and pizza breads and focaccia. All delicious. I am also a fan of the Kaiser and dinner rolls. The pastries and other sweet items are nothing special but I always have room for one of the rainbow cookies. The storefront is small so depending on when you go, you should be prepared to wait a few minutes before you get served.

Best bread around . Small place but don't be fooled their stuff is delicious and best quality. Holidays the line is down the block and so worth it! Bread amazing . Prosciutto bread one of the best around . Pastries delicious

Came here on a rainy weekday- with a few customers inside the shop. Staff behind the counter wasn't into much chit-chatting; I asked what is the most popular bread they sell; clerk suggested the Prosciutto bread- so purchased a long loaf of it, and also decided on a Pistachio tart as well. The prosciutto loaf tasted really good, with a chewy texture on the inside and lots of prosciutto bits all over the loaf of bread- a bit greasy and salty (I liked it). The pistachio tart fell apart in my hand as soon as I picked it up; made a mess all over my hand and not much pistachio flavor at all. Overall, a good neighborhood bakery for many types of bread loaves

The little bakery that could, and can! Their distinctive aroma of freshly baked goods dances around the air whenever you are in the 1 block radius, sometimes 2 if there's a gust of wind. I've seen lines form for the holidays, I've seen the door swing back and forth with the repeated customers, I've also seen myself visiting the shop twice in a day because my carb loving ass couldn't resist the stuff they're pumping out. My only negative is that their black and white cookie is incredibly dry.
